I found the talk by Kate very interesting and helpful, showing us her work from when she did a degree and the work she creates now for several commissions was inspiring..
She talked about creating crazy and almost outrageous things. Things that will make people think and wonder what we are showing through our work. Our work should be fun and exciting!!
She got me thinking about creating something temporary or visual maybe a projection. I also started thinking about surfaces and how the interior of the new building could be transformed into something amazing.
I liked her idea of wrapping the buildings in knits..
