In my visual research i have been trying to express the qualties that i wish to recreate from my images of the building site in the water. Here i have used a variety of medium- watercolour and acrylic paint, masking tape and accetate. I wanted to immitate the fluid lines of the scaffolding in the water. I have used a combination of straight lines and have used the watercolour to create more organic shapes, those found in the water in the photographs. I have also used accetate and layered it over the paint in order to give a bit of reflection. I feel these work well and represent well the qualities i am interested in developing.
These have worked really well Lucy, they've created some gorgeous marks! Think your progression with this project is going really well.
