As part of our introduction to the moving image workshop we were shown various examples of how short films can be used across industries. Here i have included my favourite of these examples. It is a short art film by Michaela Nettell, called 'Under Skies'. I feel that this video relates the art of moving image to us as textiles students in the images it creates. This film is also a good contextual reference for me in its creation of reflections in water and mirrors and looking at how this can alter the qualities of what is being presented.
