Rhian Bell- Snippets of projection on to paper

After making the 3D models in a class session before the holidays it got me thinking about projecting images from my hidden things research onto 3D models to see what effects it would create.
I have done some experimental work making 3D models and then I have projected a range of images onto them.
This is what happened...

I feel these experiments have worked very well. They create some really interesting and exciting textures. I like how the photograph looks 3D and looks as if coming out of the image.
They relate well to my “hidden things” idea as they look unusual and almost like something is being uncovered in the photograph.
I also started to think about other media I could use to project my images onto. I started to experiment with thread and explore how textural qualties of the photographs could be created.

I think these worked well too, they add texture to the image and look interesting.
