I think the work of Josiah McElheny might be useful as your working with reflections, I visited Whitechapel gallery during easter and some of his work was exhibited there, this is the sight on the work, it has a good video on it http://www.whitechapelgallery.org/exhibitions/the-bloomberg-commission-josiah-mcelheny-the-past-was-a-mirage-i-had-left-far-behind the work was basically abstract filming that he had done to create a kind of kaleidoscope effect which he then projects around the room using mirrors.
