Lauren Bowker- Ailsa Lishman.

I know Lauren Bowker's work has already been blogged about, but I just felt that her work was so inspirational, that I also had to write a post too.

I came out of her talk absolutely gobsmacked at what she had managed to achieve at such a young age. 

In my head successful designers are some sort of super human, that's different from everyone else, that does nothing but work. Lauren Bowker proved me wrong, she still had fun and socialized, on top of doing all the work. She didn't stress about it, in fact socializing she said is one of the key parts in being successful. Lauren now works in a successful collaboration called PHNX, designing for a whole number of people.

Lauren's Advice;

- see the unseen

- rejection- if someone tells you somethings not good enough, prove them wrong

- be naive

- network & collaborate

- don't be scared to do your own ideas

- know your audience
